Managed quote lines to job

One can automatically manage quote lines by ticking the manage job on quote

 On the header of the quote, go to Extras tab

Put a tick on Manage Qty On Job

This will ensure that all lines added to the quote will have a tick for manage quantity on job

 

The lightning bolt button allows one to update older quotes or quotes where one has forgotten to put the tick on when first starting the quote.

This will then update all existing lines on the quote to put this tick on.

 

By default the tick is OFF, as we don't always manage a quote to a job as the main function of a quote is to prepare the budget to work and manage lines against the job.

 

 

 

When the lines are entered, then the tick will automatically be put on for Manage quantity on job.

 

 

There is a column which tells you whether the line has the tick on or not

 

 

 

Job lines are managed, marked as Is complete and status changed to complete

 

Rule

If there is not enough stock to manage, the lines will not be managed.

This goes for stock that has stock on hand, but there is not enough stock to fully manage the line.

Then the line will remain unmanaged on the job.
