Reopening a Job

This manual outlines recent system changes designed to identify when a job has been reopened.

When searching for jobs, reopened jobs will be clearly indicated in the grid:

  • The row will be highlighted in green
  • A Reopened column will display the date and time the job was reopened

Lock Lines

When a job is closed, all associated lines—whether managed or not—are locked.

If the job is later reopened, these existing lines will remain locked and cannot be edited.
Only new lines can be added to the job.

Job Reopened Indicators

When opening a reopened job, the system clearly highlights this status for visibility.

  • A Reopened indicator is displayed in the top left corner of the job screen
  • Any lines that were locked upon reopening are clearly identified

This ensures users can easily recognise that the job has been reopened and understand which lines can no longer be edited

Refresh Grids

You can now refresh job tabs without needing to close and reopen the job.

Simply click on the All Job Lines Level tree view, and the system will automatically refresh all job tabs, including the line items.
