Sales lead Process
A sales lead is the identification of a person or entity that has the interest and authority to purchase a product or service. This step represents the first stage of a sales process.
If the client already exists and they are now interested in more business you can enter the name or select them from the customer drop-down
To create a new prospect click on new
CRM Module> Activity> Sales Leads
Owner – Is the Person responsible for generating the lead
The Customer - is the person or entity interested in your products/service
Using the Business Card You Can Insert the Information by clicking on New it will open the Debtors Setup Window Add the Company Details and Select under Debtor Type Drop down Arrow that it is a prospect or Opportunity
Sales Rep – This Is the Sales Person to be commissioned for the Lead
Stage – This is where you class your lead select the action that defines the stage on the drop down menu
Lead Date –The date When the Lead was Prospected
Follow Up Date – The Date when the follow up is to be done
Est.close Date – The Estimated date when the sale is closed.
Customer Type – The Customer Type Is between New and existing select one
Rating - Allows you to rate a lead hot, warm, Cold
Status – Here you can define The Status of the Lead
Reference –Add Reference
Description –add a description
Comments /Notes - add notes or comments
Route to market Select the category it falls under in the drop down arrow
Source – Add the Source
Activity Category – Select te Activity Category From The Drop Dow n Arrow
Colour Code – Colour Code your Lead Select colour from the drop Down Arrow
Probability – Rate the Probability of the Lead in Percentages
Estimated Revenue – Add the Amount for an estimated revenue
Estimated Cost – Add an estimated cost
Estimated Profit – Add an Estimated Profit
Weighted Pipeline -
Division – Select the Division
Region – Select the Region
Available Budget – Add the Available Budget
Save And New – to Save and add A new Sales Leads
Save and close - To Save and Close the Captured Sales Lead
Save to Save Only
Close To Close Only and Exit the Form
Contacts Tab
This Will Show the Contact Persons Linked to this Lead
