Group Codes Setup Process

ThisGroup iscodes whereare youused could setupfor the groupfollowing codesreasons:

1. Categorise stock listing.
2. Sales mapping -  the caters for automatic postings to specific Sales and Cost of Sales accounts when invoice are processed. 

Inventory Module>Configuration Menu>Group Codes Setup

 

Click search to find the existing group codes and click on amendedit button to seeedit howand itexisting wasgroup created or click on delete button to delete it.code.

To create a new group code, click onthe Add button.

General Tab	Fill in the following
Code	Enter a code of your choice
Description	Enter a description and save

GeneralClick Ledger Links Tab:Save

Then click the edit button on the same screen.

Sales - Short Search	just type in part ofSelect the code or name and hit enter on the keyboard and select sales GLaccount Links
Cost of sales - Short Search	justSelect typethe inrequired partCost of theSales code or name and hit enter on the keyboard and select cost of sales GL Link.account
Custom - Short Search	justSelect typethe inalternate partCost of theSales codeaccount. orThis nameis for service and hitCustom enter on the keyboard and select custom GL Link.items.
Service - Short Search	justSelect typethe inalternate partCost of theSales codeaccount. orThis nameis for service and hitCustom enter on the keyboard and select service GL Link.
Click Print Grid	to print all the created Group codes.items.

TheTo groupexport codesthe couldGroup becode printed out or emailed or even exportedlist to excelexcel, sheet.click on Print grid and select export.
