# Sub Job Link

This section allows you to create a **sub-job** linked to a main job.

The sub-job retains the original job number, with an extension added (e.g. *.1*) to indicate that it forms part of the main job. This helps group related work under a single job structure while still tracking each component separately.

When created, the system will automatically assign a sub-job number based on the main job—for example:

<div id="bkmrk-main-job%3A-job15-sub-">- **Main Job:** Job15
- **Sub Job:** Job15.1

</div>This numbering structure clearly indicates that the sub-job forms part of the main job while allowing it to be managed and tracked independently.
