# Production Tracking

<div id="bkmrk-production-tracking-">**Production Tracking** monitors items as they move through the manufacturing process, providing visibility at each stage from preparation to completion. It allows you to see the current status of an item, track its progress through production, and confirm when it has been fully completed. <div id="bkmrk-if-the-item-was-crea">If the item was created from a document such as an **Invoice**, **Job**, or **Sales Order**, you will be able to track it between documents.
