# Asset Groups Setup

<span class="ts0">This is ideal for setting up various types of groups for your Asset items.</span>

<span class="ts0">These groups are used in Asseet Fixed assets to group all fixed assets into a single General Ledger Journal.</span>

<span class="ts0">Meaning you can create a group called vehicles fixed assets. Assign all your fixed assets to this group.</span>

<span class="ts0">When the depreciation journal is created, it will group all those fixed assets into one General Ledger Journal.</span>
